78th Independence Day Celebration - 15th August 2024
Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University of Samayapuram in Trichy celebrated "78th Independence Day on 15th August 2024" to celebrate the attainment of independence of our nation. The Pro Chancellor of the university Smt. Ananthalakshmi Kathiravan was the chief guest of the celebration. She unfurled the flag and delivered the Independence Day speech. She emphazised the importance of women empowerment and remembering the importance of freedom fighters. She also addressed the students about youth leadership to enhance country's statemanship. The students of the constituent schools of the university enthusiastically participated in the cultural programme signifying the spirit of peace and harmony in our nation. The Pro Chancellor distributed the prizes for the winners of various competitions held as part of the Independence Day celebrations aswell. The Vice Chancellor of the university Dr. C. K. Ranjan, the Registrar Dr. Dhanasekaran Devaraj and the Deans of various schools, Associate Deans, faculty, staff and students were present.
