Dr.N.Prakash has completed his Under graduation, Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering during the year 2002 and Post graduation, Master of Engineering in Internal Combustion Engines during the year 2006. He also earned his Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering during the year 2017, from Hindustan University, Chennai- Tamil Nadu in the core research area of Computational Fluid Dynamics.

He was the Co-PI for a sponsored project from NRB during the period from 2009 to 2012 for a worth of Rs 17.73 Lakhs. Also, a Co-PI Co-investigator for -AERB(Atomic Energy Regulatory Body) for the amount of 45.36 lakhs during the year 2020. He is also, specialised in IC Engines and Electric Vehicle Technology.

He has an experience in the Department of Automobile Engineering for over 17 years as an academician. He had a privilege to be invited as a guest speaker for an International Symposium on Green Energy by Gunma University Japan during the year 2018.

He has published nearly 35 journals in both National & international journals under his credit.
