Day 1: Outreach programme at Samayapuram, PHC - Awareness talk to Antenatal Mothers.
Day 2: Awareness skit by Nursing students in OG OP and speech by Paediatrician.
Day 3: Mega rally by 250 students of Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital & School of Nursing at Samayapuram. Flagged off by Mr. Ajay Thangam, Deputy Superintendent, Lalgudi.
Day 4: Antenatal Ward Counselling. Interaction between faculty and patients in the OP and wards to create awareness.
Day 5: Awareness talk to Staff Nurses.
Day 6: One on One Counselling to ward patients.
Day 7: Poster Competition was conducted for University students based on World Breastfeeding week - 2023 Theme: "Enabling Breastfeeding – Making a difference for working parents". Valedictory function was organized by the Department of Paediatrics. Keynote address by Dr. A. Haripraveen, Senior Resident, Department of Paediatrics. A speech was given by Dr. R. Vidhya, Senior Resident, Department of OBG in maternal challenges in breastfeeding and the solutions. Quiz competition was conducted for faculties.
