Around 600 students of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University participated in a Cancer Awareness Rally held on 20.10.2023 (Friday). The rally was flagged off by Mrs. K. Kamini, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Trichy District in the presence of Dr. D. Nehru, MD, Dean, KAPV Government Medical College, Trichy. The rally started from Trichy Railway Junction and ended at MGM Government Hospital. The students carried placards with slogan to create awareness among public and they also shouted slogans to make people aware of danger of tobacco consumption in any form.
