The Department of Cardiovascular Technology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy, successfully organized CARVITA 2026 on 19 February 2026, marking the inauguration of the ECG and Echo Club. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 250 students from the streams of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences. The chief guest, Dr. M. Chenniappan, formally inaugurated the ECG and Echo Club and delivered an informative lecture on the topic “Basics of ECG and How to Record ECG.” His session provided students with valuable foundational knowledge and practical understanding of electrocardiography. Adding an interactive dimension to the programme, students presented an engaging role play illustrating the cardiac conduction system, which was well-received by the audience. The event concluded on a successful note, serving as a valuable academic initiative that fostered learning, collaboration, and interest in cardiovascular diagnostics among students.
