INAUGURATION OF CROOK’S CLUB ON 26-03-2026
The School of Allied Health Sciences Department of Radiology proudly inaugurated “Crooke’s Club”, a Radiology Club established to promote academic excellence and innovation in the field of imaging science. The name “Crooke’s” is inspired by the historic Crookes Tube, honoring its significant contribution to the evolution of radiology and medical imaging. The inauguration ceremony marked the formal launch of the club as a dynamic platform aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. With an active participation of around 130 students, the club is envisioned to enhance image interpretation skills while fostering leadership, teamwork, and effective communication among students. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Patron, Shri. A. Srinivasan, and featured a distinguished guest lecture by Dr. Muthu Mahesh, who shared valuable insights into the advancements and practical aspects of radiological sciences. Crooke’s Club aims to provide students with opportunities for clinical exposure, participation in academic activities such as quizzes and workshops, and hands-on learning experiences in medical imaging.
