The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science successfully hosted a seminar on "ANNs: The Powering Future" on 16th October 2025. The objective of the seminar was to acquaint students with the core principles and practical applications of Artificial Neural Networks, as well as their potential impact on the future.
The resource person for the session was Dr. Gomathi Chandran from Anna University, BIT Campus, Trichy. Dr. Gomathi Chandran delivered a thought-provoking presentation on ANNs, emphasizing real-world applications and effective implementation strategies. Her engaging and interactive approach, coupled with illustrative examples, significantly enhanced the students' learning experience.
