We are delighted to share that the Department of Chemistry, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU), successfully organized an Invited Talk on “Introduction to Computational Chemistry and Its Application to Catalysis.”
We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Management for their generous funding and to the Honourable Vice-Chancellor and Registrar for their constant encouragement and unwavering support. Our sincere thanks also go to our beloved Dean, Dr. V. Sekar, for his continuous guidance and motivation.
We further extend our appreciation to Dr. A. Sirajunnisa, Associate Dean (S&H), Dr. M. Sakthivel, Head of the Department of Chemistry, and all faculty members for their valuable support in organizing this event successfully.
The session featured our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Prabha Vadivelu, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Central University of Tamil Nadu, who delivered an enlightening lecture on the historical evolution of quantum mechanical principles and their application in addressing real-world scientific challenges. Dr. Prabha also highlighted the career opportunities available for B.Tech. students in fields such as materials design, research and development, drug design, and computational software development.
