The School of Engineering and Technology, Department of CSE (IoT), at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University (DSU), organized “Speakathon 0.1”, a technical event focusing on “Future Trends and Security in IoT.” The program aimed to provide a platform for students to explore and discuss emerging innovations and security challenges in the Internet of Things (IoT) domain.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. V. Sekar, Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, who emphasized the growing importance of IoT technologies and the need for robust security measures in today’s digital landscape.
The event featured Mr. S. Thirugnanasambanthan, Technical Engineer at Enthu Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest. He shared valuable insights on current industry trends, real-time applications of IoT, and the significance of securing connected systems.
Conducted from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Seminar Hall, the event witnessed active participation from students and faculty members. The sessions encouraged interactive discussions, knowledge sharing, and innovative thinking among participants.
The event concluded successfully, enhancing students’ understanding of future IoT technologies and strengthening their awareness of security challenges in the evolving digital ecosystem.
