The Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, organized a Capacity Building Program on the topic “Expert Guidance for Study Abroad Aspirants” in association with AECC India. The program was conducted for the benefit of II Year D.Pharm and III Year B.Pharm students, aiming to create awareness about higher education opportunities abroad.
The session was led by Mr. Abdul Razaack Azarudheen S, Senior Executive – Business Development, Coimbatore. The resource person provided valuable insights into various international study options and guided students on how to plan their academic careers globally.
During the program, the speaker discussed important aspects such as choosing the right country and university, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, application process, scholarships, visa requirements, and financial planning. He also highlighted popular destinations for pharmacy students, including countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and European nations.
Mr. Abdul Razaack Azarudheen emphasized the importance of language proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, and GMAT, and explained how students can prepare for these examinations. He also shared practical tips on writing statements of purpose (SOP), letters of recommendation (LOR), and building a strong academic profile.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and raising queries regarding course selection, career prospects, part-time job opportunities, post-study work visas, and permanent residency options. The speaker addressed all questions patiently and provided clear guidance.
