GPAT Training Programme for Third-Year B. Pharm Students-25.6.2026
The School of Pharmacy, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, organized a GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) Training Programme for the Third-Year B. Pharm students with the objective of strengthening their subject knowledge and preparing them for competitive examinations and higher education opportunities.
The training programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of all third-year B.Pharm students, who actively engaged in the interactive learning sessions. The programme focused on enhancing students' understanding of core pharmacy subjects, including Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and other GPAT-relevant topics.
Mr. Viswanathan from Rani Pharma Achievers conducted a GPAT orientation programme covering conceptual learning, problem-solving techniques, multiple-choice question (MCQ) practice, examination strategies, time management, and previous years' GPAT question paper discussions. Students were also provided with guidance on effective preparation methods, revision techniques, and approaches to improve accuracy and confidence during competitive examinations.
The training programme aimed to motivate students to pursue higher studies such as M.Pharm and research careers, while also preparing them for national-level competitive examinations. The sessions helped students assess their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and develop a systematic approach towards GPAT preparation.
