Awareness program in School of Arts and Science

An awareness programme was conducted on 18.07.2025 by the Internal Complaints Committee for the School of Arts and Science. The programme aimed to create awareness about the prevention of sexual harassment and the importance of fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. The sessions began with an insightful address by the Presiding Officer Dr. B. Suganthi, who highlighted the legal framework of the ICC under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and emphasized the relevance of the committee in empowering students, especially women, to voice their concerns without fear.
