CROOKES CLUB WEBINAR SERIES: EXPLORING RADIOLOGY CAREERS BEYOND THE CLASSROOM ON 12-06-2026
The Department of Radiography and Imaging Technology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, successfully conducted the Second Session of the CROOKES Club Webinar Series on 12th June 2026 through an online platform. The webinar, titled "Radiology Careers: Beyond the Classroom," was designed to broaden students' perspectives on the diverse career opportunities available in the rapidly evolving field of medical imaging. The event attracted an impressive 201 intercollegiate registrations, highlighting the growing interest among aspiring radiology professionals.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. R. Tharun Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai. Through an engaging and thought-provoking presentation, he provided an extensive overview of the expanding professional landscape in radiology. The session explored higher education pathways, research opportunities, clinical specializations, industrial applications, entrepreneurship, and the essential competencies required to excel in the healthcare sector.
