The College of Nursing observed World Tuberculosis Day on 24.03.2025 and 26.03.2025 to create awareness about tuberculosis prevention and control. A Mass Awareness Rally was conducted at No.1 Tollgate with the enthusiastic participation of 400 students and faculty members, promoting public awareness on TB elimination. A Guest Lecture was also organized by Dr. Savithri S., Deputy Director, Tuberculosis Control Programme, Tiruchirappalli, who delivered an informative session on the World Tuberculosis Day theme and the importance of early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. The programme enhanced participants' knowledge and reinforced the institution's commitment to community health and public awareness initiatives.
