The College of Nursing, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, organized a Hands-on Training on Infection Control to enhance the practical knowledge and clinical skills of nursing students. The resource persons from the Department of Microbiology, Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital (SMCH). The training focused on standard infection prevention and control practices, hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), biomedical waste management, and aseptic techniques. Students actively participated in the practical demonstrations and gained valuable hands-on experience in infection control measures. The programme strengthened their competence in ensuring patient safety and preventing healthcare-associated infections.
