The College of Nursing, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, organized an International Webinar on “Widening Horizons in Dialysis” on 14th February 2026 at the Academic Block. The programme was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sathiyapriya J, Dean, College of Nursing. The session featured Ms. Preenu James, RN, Hemodialysis Nurse, VA Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, as the international resource person. She delivered an insightful lecture on advancements in hemodialysis, patient-centered care, infection prevention, technological innovations, and global standards in renal nursing practice.Around 295 students actively participated in the webinar. The webinar significantly enhanced participants’ knowledge of recent developments in dialysis and broadened their understanding of global perspectives in nephrology nursing.
