The Department of Mathematics, School of Engineering and Technology, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on "Teaching AI to Reason: Mathematical Induction and Discrete Logic" on 15 July 2026 at the Seminar Hall, SET Block.
The session provided participants with valuable insights into the fundamental role of Mathematical Induction and Discrete Logic in developing intelligent Artificial Intelligence systems. The resource person highlighted how logical reasoning, proof techniques, and discrete mathematical concepts form the backbone of AI algorithms, decision-making, and intelligent problem-solving.
