Online Training Immersion Program on “Personal Branding: 3 ways to build effective communication”

Training and Placement cell of DSU organized an online training immersion programme for on 21st April, 2023 benefitting 24 1st year MBA students. The speaker for this session was Ms. Devi Priya (Founder, Sree Ramanujar Intellect Services, Pondicherry). This training program helped students to develop their communication and presentation skills. The students were classified initially based on their levels of English competency and an effort was made to help them realise their current level of English through interactive activities. Then various topics such as ‘Why Communication is important, Types of Communication, Barriers and how to overcome them’ were presented to students through storytelling, live examples, and relatable experiences. Various skills such as Interpersonal and Intrapersonal skills and how to present with confidence and fearless delivery were imparted. Finally, the students were taught how to improve their self-image irrespective of their family situation, stressful circumstances etc. Students were engaged in an activity with role play and games to understand the core component of the subject. Overall, the session was made interesting and interactive to boost and motivate students for better communication.
